An alienated nurse whose life is surrounded by death sets off to find her long-lost childhood friend. While tracing her recollections, she embarks on a paradox-filled voyage within her own memory and the memory of those she encounters. Her searches do not take her where she wanted to go, yet still her life will never be the same as a result.
